I have posted a sample multiple choice exam. The last time I used this text book, my exams were multiple choice. Nevertheless, this should give some practice problems and an idea of the kinds of things that will be asked on tomorrow’s midterm.
As we’ve talked about in class, your exam will consist of three sections:
- A multiple-choice section that will test your knowledge of the qualitative matter (concepts, definitions, etc.);
- A long-answer section that will test your knowledge of the quantitative matter (calculating free cash flow, PV/FV problems, annuity problems, etc.); and
- A bonus section which will include questions on the handouts and have challenging quantitative problems.
Expect around 15 to 20 multiple choice questions, around 10 to 15 long-answer questions and around 2 or 3 bonus questions.
Good luck on studying. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to email me.
